Eye of Modok

A very healthy, happy and prosperous year 2006 to all! Things were very mellow this year. I just watched a movie at home with the kids. On New Year’s Day, a spontaneous ritual burst forth where we all found ourselves taking turns announcing our new year resolutions. As we went around, sometimes we would embelish or hone a previous declaration, to capture to whole nuance but on the whole we stated our aims for the year, mine being rather career oriented while Blysse and Ellie tended more towards diligent, studious and dutiful behavior. Too bad Mommy wasn’t here to join us this time, but now that we have the ritual, she can participate next year as it becomes part of our Tradition.
