Wright State was also ahead of its time in wheelchair accessibility, with elevators in every building, an underground network of passageways connecting every building on campus, and wheelchair sports when I was there in 1973. I remember seeing groups of half a dozen or more students in wheelchairs congregating in those underground hallways to chat.

I may be off-base, but it seems a potential deal-breaker might be transmitting that energy in-land. There is a solution, however, to live at sea. http://www.seasteading.org/

Does used cooking oil count as bio-diesel? I just saw an amazing article about a guy getting 60mpg AND 2000 fp of torque out of Hummers using turbine engines and used cooking oil. Read all about it at http://www.mindfully.org/Energy/2007/Johnathan-Goodwin-Motorhead1nov07.htm

Just wanted to say that the street food disappeared around my area too. No jian bing, no ro jia mo, no other stuff that I don't know the names of. Vanished. I had to give out of town guests those sub-standard jian bings they make at grocery stores. I live near the Wangjing area, and the vendors are still no where near back to pre-Olympic levels.
